Donvay Wegierski leads the substantial foreign trade mark division within the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) practice area. Donvay has over twenty years of experience advising on a diverse range of IP matters with clients such as large FMCGs, banking and insurance, technology, wine and agriculture in over 80 countries worldwide. Her expertise includes trade mark portfolio management; trade mark searching, filing and prosecution matters; trade mark oppositions and passing off matters; due diligence reports in IP commercial transactions; counterfeit goods and domain names. She has advised extensively on NAFDAC in Nigeria, implications of Brexit, laws and nuances in China and trade mark formalities throughout Africa.
