  • Part of team advising a consortium of banks and investment vehicles in relation to the refinancing of the preference share funding of the acquisition by Phembani Group of a circa 21% stake in Engen Limited.
  • Part of team advising a JSE listed company in respect of preference share funding to be advanced to its subsidiary.
  • Part of team advising The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited and Futuregrowth Asset Management Proprietary Limited in relation to the amendment and restatement of the preference share funding in terms of which the SA National Taxi Council acquired a 25% stake in SA Taxi, a subsidiary of Transaction Capital Limited.
  • Part of team advising Grindrod Bank Limited on various facility agreements including mortgage facility agreements.
  • Part of team advising Zungu Investments Company Proprietary Limited in respect of debt and preference share funding.
  • Part of team advising FirstRand Bank Limited (acting through its First National Bank division) in respect of preference share funding of the acquisition of equity shares in a South African manufacturer.
  • Part of team advising Futuregrowth Asset Management Proprietary Limited in respect of various facility agreements in the projects and property sectors.
