  • Advised numerous local and international mining and resource companies in relation to acquisitions, disposals, listings and operational agreements.
  • Advised Peregrine Holdings Limited in respect of a takeover offer by CapitalWorks. Dealmakers South African private equity transaction of the year 2020.
  • Advised 4Racing in respect of its acquisition of the business of Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited. Dealmakers South African business rescue transaction of the year 2020.
  • Advised Brother Enterprises in respect of its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Lanxess CISA Proprietary Limited.
  • Advised MTN in a number of multi-billion Rand transactions.
  • Advised Epangelo Mining in respect of its acquisition of an equity stake in the Swakopmund Uranium project.
  • Advised Intercement in respect of the restructuring of its South African operations.
  • Acted for Ichor in its subscription for 29.99% of the shares in Universal Coal plc.
  • Advised Kropz plc in respect of its listing on AIM.
  • Advised Edcon on its card transaction with ABSA Bank and various outsourcing arrangements with Accenture.
